Burning Questions

Family history research is like detective work. The clues aren't obvious at first, and names, dates and facts usually require a great deal of "investigating" to uncover. Every now and then, an ancestor seems to have vanished altogether without a trace. I was recently in touch with my Great Aunt Liz, who has generations' worth of information about my Grandpa Jenkins' parents and their ancestors, and with my Great Uncle Bob, who I hope can help me find out more about my father's mother's ancestry. These are the questions I hope to find answers to: (if you have any information, please let me know!)

Questions for the Jenkins:
  • What are the names of Harry Thornton Jenkins' mother and father?
  • What was Sidney Hall's mother Lillie M.'s, maiden name?
  • Who were the parents of Frank E. Goodman and his wife Ressie?

Questions for the Hedgepeths:

  • What was the name of Rufus Hedgepeth's first wife?
  • Is Rufus' mother's name Jemima Elsie or Elsie Jemima? Where were her parents from?
  • Who are the grandparents of Wilma Sue Bryant?

1 comment:

  1. Hey Jenny, Wilma Sue's grandparents on her father's side are Thomas and Belle Bryant. I have not been able to find Mary Ogden's (or Ogdlen)parents, which is on Wilma's mother's side.
